In the past decade, information technology, biological technology, new material technology and new energy technology have been gradually applied in the agriculture field. In particular, new-generation information technologies, such as artificial intelligence, sensors, mobile internet, cloud computing, big data and internet of things, have widely penetrated various fields of agricultural production to boost the upgrade of agricultural industry chain and the transformation of traditional agriculture.
To promote the innovative development of smart agriculture, China Agricultural University (CAU) will hold the 8th International Conference on Smart Agriculture Innovative Development (ICSAID 2024) during July 12-15, 2024 in Beijing, China. Scientists, scholars, students, and industrial professionals engaged in smart agriculture are welcome to share their expertise, professional insights and industrial practices in the relevant fields and jointly promote the international collaboration and innovative development of smart agriculture.

4. Call for Paper
Authors are invited to submit full papers in either English or Chinese. All submissions will be peer-reviewed based on originality, technical quality and presentation, and should not be published elsewhere before the notification of acceptance or rejection. Selected papers will be recommended to one of the following journals for publication：International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (SCI), Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering (EI), Transactions of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery (EI), and Smart Agriculture.
For those selected papers, at least one author must attend this conference to present the research work and pay the conference registration fee. If the recommended paper is accepted by the journal, the publication fee shall be paid by the author directly to the journal. For the format of the paper, please refer to the requirements of the journal to be submitted.

6. Registration
The registration fee is required for attending this conference. The early registration fees before June 15, 2024 are 1,500 RMB for non-students and 750 RMB for students. The normal registration fees after June 15, 2024 are 2,000 RMB for non-students and 1,000 RMB for students.
