报告内容简介:

Egypt's smart agriculture technology is currently focusing on the adoption of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices to enhance resilience against climate change and improve agricultural productivity. The government is investing in research and development, extension services, and digitalization to support this transition. Key areas of focus include the adoption of CSA technologies, promoting high-value subsectors, enhancing resource efficiency, and addressing adoption barriers. Egypt is also working on digital transformation in agriculture, with the FAO assisting in the development of a digital model for agricultural extension services to improve the flow of information and access to services for farmers and rural women. This includes the use of mobile applications and remote sensing techniques to monitor agricultural land and predict diseases and pests. Despite challenges such as initial high costs and access to financing, Egypt is committed to building sustainable agriculture and food systems through the adoption of modern technology and innovative practices.
